This shawl was designed specifically for the Treehouse Knits Beetlejuice Halloween Countdown Calendar (however you are welcome to use another yarn advent or any minis/leftover yarn you have already!). This shawl is designed with stripes of 12 different mini colour sections, alternated by stripes using the full skein. The pattern is intended to use the minis in the countdown order, but if you are using other yarn just decide on your own order for the colour sections!
I knit two versions of this shawl. The pictures where I am wearing the white t-shirt are of the version with Option 1, using miscellaneous minis from Treehouse Knits. The pictures of the shawl on the chairs/table/back of a couch are of the version with Option 3, using the Beetlejuice Countdown yarn from Treehouse Knits.

4” x 4” = 24 sts x 30 rounds – unblocked
4” x 4” = 22 sts x 34 rounds – blocked
(stockinette, knit flat)
If your gauge is not quite the same as mine but close then you should be ok to continue, just keep note that the finished size of your wrap will be a little bit different.
Finished Size
Option 1: ~ 15.5” by 70”
Option 2: ~ 19.5” by 70”
Option 3: ~ 19.5” by 57”
Since the wrap is knit in a parallelogram shape, the length

Yarn
Any fingering weight yarn – 1 full skein and 12 minis
- The pattern is designed using Treehouse Knits Beetlejuice Halloween Countdown yarn (Spruce Sock – 463 yds / 100g, 92.6 yds/20 g mini) but would work well with any other advent/countdown box, or a random assortment of minis or leftover fingering weight yarn that you have in your stash!
Yardage
Option 1: 185 g / 860 yds total
Option 2: 233 g / 1080 yds total
Option 3: 194 g / 900 yds total
Each of the 12 mini colour sections used approx. 10.5 g / 50 yds (Options 1 and 3) and 13 g / 60 yds (Option 2) of yarn. If you have 20 g minis, that would be plenty for any of the size options! The full skein is used for the stripes in between and uses a total of approx. 65 g / 300 yds (Options 1 and 3) and 78 g / 360 yds (Option 2).
