Perfectly Knotted

The Bisected Sweater is a slightly cropped, oversized pullover worked half knit and half purl with a raised line detail at the switch between the knit/purl halves. It has a crew style neckline with the neck shaping a picked up collar, and is worked top down (flat for the armhole shaping, then in the round for the remainder of the body and sleeves) with a sloped drop shoulder construction. The collar, cuffs and bottom edge have a 1x1 ribbed hem in a contrasting colour (optional). The sweater is designed to fall to a slightly cropped level. The pattern is intended to be a boxy fit, but there are options for waist shaping if desired, as well as adjusting length as needed for the body and sleeves. This is a size inclusive design, written for 11 sizes (31.5-71.5 inch / 79-179 cm finished bust, in 4 inch / 10 cm increments) and designed for 4-8 inches / 10-20 cm of positive ease.
